Branding Design Services
for Clothing Brands
Your branding is the DNA of your company. It is how customers recognise you, remember you, and decide whether your brand is for them. Tone, style, and colour all work together to create an identity that either resonates or gets overlooked.
Strong branding is not something to figure out after your product is ready. It shapes your product development, your packaging, your swing tickets, and your entire customer experience. Getting it right from the start saves significant rework down the line and gives your brand a professional foundation from day one.
Our designers can help you build your brand identity from the ground up, or refine and extend an existing look. Whether you need a logo, a full brand guide, custom labelling and packaging, or a lookbook to present your range, we cover everything your brand needs to show up professionally.

Our Branding Design Services
Each service can be developed individually, but they are most powerful when designed as part of a cohesive brand system.
Logo Design
Your logo is the cornerstone of your brand identity. We develop logo concepts that reflect your brand positioning, work across digital and print applications, and hold up at every scale from a garment label to a billboard. All logo files are delivered in formats suitable for web, print, hardware moulds and embroidery or print application on garments.
Brand identity and guidelines
A logo alone is not a brand. A full brand identity encompasses your colour palette, typography, visual language, tone of voice, and the rules that govern how all of these elements work together across every application. We develop brand guidelines that give you and your team a clear, consistent framework to work from.
Packaging design
Your packaging is often the first physical touchpoint a customer has with your brand. Custom packaging — boxes, polybags, mailers, tote bags, tissue paper, and inserts — communicates quality before the product is even seen. We design packaging that reflects your brand identity and works within your production and cost parameters. Ask us about our branded biodegradable and compostable ECOFAB polybags and mailers — when you manufacture with our partner factories, we send the polybags to the factory and assembly is included at no extra cost. Swing tickets and garment labels
Swing tickets and woven or printed garment labels are a detail that separates a finished product from a prototype. We design these elements to work cohesively with your brand identity and prepare them to the specifications your clothing manufacturer needs for production. We can also produce the label material for you — and when you manufacture with our partner factories, we take care of the assembly at no extra cost.
Lookbook design
A lookbook communicates not just your product but the world your brand inhabits. It is an essential tool for wholesale outreach, press, and establishing a strong brand image at launch. We design lookbooks that present your range professionally and tell the story behind your collection.
Why Branding Matters in Fashion
In a crowded market, your branding is often the first impression a customer gets before they ever touch your product. A strong, consistent visual identity builds trust, signals quality, and makes your brand memorable across every touchpoint — from your website and social media through to your hangtags and tissue paper.
Branding is also important to consider early in your development process. When you finalise your garment labels and packaging specifications with your manufacturer, you need your brand identity to already be locked in. Trying to retrofit branding to production timelines creates delays and extra costs.
If you are still working out your brand direction or want guidance on how your identity should work across different applications, book a design consultation and our team will help you develop a clear and confident brand strategy.

Frequently Asked Questions About Fashion Branding Design
At a minimum, your fashion brand needs a logo, a defined colour palette, and typography guidelines. Beyond that, strong branding extends to your packaging, garment labels and swing tickets, lookbook design, social media presence, and website. The more consistent your brand is across every touchpoint, the stronger the impression it makes.
Ideally at the beginning of your design development, before you commit to packaging specifications or labelling details with your manufacturer. Branding and packaging needs to be incorporated into the tech pack, so ideally this is ready before tech pack work starts.
Having your branding locked in early means your garment labels, swing tickets, and packaging can all be designed and approved as part of the production process rather than added as an afterthought.
It is important that you have defined your brand positioning before you start develop your logo and invest further with your product design. If you need help with this so that you can move forward with confidence, we recommend to start with our Brand Identity Blueprint strategy session
Yes. Our designers work with you to develop a brand identity that reflects your aesthetic, your target customer, and the positioning you want in the market. We provide a design handover template to help you communicate your vision, then you book a design consultation to clarify direction. From there we quote your job and develop concepts for your review and refinement. The clearer your vision, the faster and more cost-effective the process.
A lookbook is not essential for every brand at launch, but it is a powerful tool for presenting your range to stockists, press, and customers. It communicates not just the product but the world your brand inhabits. If you are planning wholesale outreach or want to establish a strong brand image from launch, a lookbook is worth the investment.
A logo is a single mark or wordmark that represents your brand. A brand identity is the full system that surrounds it, including your colour palette, typography, image style, graphic elements, and guidelines for how everything works together. A logo without a broader identity system often results in inconsistent application across different materials and channels.
Your brand identity directly informs your garment labels, swing tickets, and packaging — all of which are specified and ordered as part of your production process. Having your branding finalised before you go into production means these elements can be approved and ordered alongside your bulk garments rather than as a separate, delayed step. Our team bridges both sides: we design your brand identity and then make sure it translates correctly into your production documentation. - Files must be supplied in an editable vector format compatible with Adobe Illustrator (preferred: .AI or EPS file). Flattened/raster files created in tools like Canva etc or other non-editable formats cannot be used for final production.
- It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the files are in the correct file format. If we find that the file is incorrect at the time we start the job, we will need to stop and reschedule. This interrupts our workflow, in which case we may invoice a fee to reschedule.

Branding Built for Fashion, Grounded in Production
Visionise designers understand both the creative and the commercial realities of building a fashion brand. Your brand identity needs to work on a hangtag and on Instagram, in a lookbook and on a woven label inside a garment. We design with all of those applications in mind from the start.
